Circles is a shot data platform that gives golfers a deeper understanding of their performance. It identifies the details that matter about a player’s game, which allows them and their coach to hone in on what will improve their performance the most. This means more efficient practice and faster results.

Ultimately, the goal is to get golfers drawing more circles on their scorecards.

In the past, a data scientist has been needed for this kind of understanding, but Circles helps players get it for a fraction of the cost.

To do this our platform enables you to:

  • Know where you're starting from

  • Understand what you're aiming for

  • Identify how to bridge any performance gaps

  • Prepare efficiently through practice

The Four Key Elements

1. Know where you’re starting from.

We use leading data analytics techniques to accurately measure and track your underlying performance in all the different areas of your game. This includes comprehensive strokes gained reports. This is crucial because traditional metrics do not reveal the full picture of a player's performance, and are often misleading.

We use data on performance in all practice and competitive rounds, plus other data collected through practice.

2. Know what you’re aiming for.

We use global benchmarks that quantify a variety of key skill areas. Our benchmarks show the level of performance to be aiming for in each area.

3. Bridge the gap.

In order to bridge any gaps between where you’re starting from to what you’re aiming for, we employ artificial intelligence and automation to identify these gaps by evaluating your current performance compared to your benchmarks. This granular diagnostic of your relative strengths and weaknesses enables us to identify the areas for development. These focus areas are then prioritized based on how much of an effect the improvement will have on your overall score.

4. Prepare through practice.

We support this by suggesting areas to practice as well as recommended goals to aim for. Find out more about the Practice Logs here.

After 20 rounds your prediction modelling tool will also unlock estimated performance forecasting. This function allows you to engage in collaborative decision making with your team.
