If you’re not used to taking stats, it can often be challenging to start. This is normal, so please don’t worry!

Like anything, becoming used to collecting and inputting shot data takes time.

We’ve found that players not used to taking stats find the first five rounds challenging, i.e., focusing more on their stats than ‘playing’.

Tips:

  • Start taking stats in 9 holes fun/practice rounds, i.e., not tournaments

  • Record the shot data at the end of each hole (takes 10-15 seconds), as opposed to after/before each shot.

  • Length = the distance/length remaining to the hole from where you took the shot.
It's important to note that this is NOT the distance/length of your shot.

  • For the best results, use a rangefinder/shot laser.

  • For distances off the tee, the distances on your scorecard will typically suffice. We do recommend that you use a laser for more accurate distances on Par 3s.

Remember, like a technical swing change, something new is often uncomfortable, but the results are worth it.
