Understanding the number of strokes you have within a specific category in your game is crucial to identifying areas for improvement and tracking progress. On Circles, if you have a Training or higher tier membership, you can access this information through the Strokes Gained (SG) value of each shot.

Interpreting Strokes Gained Metrics

The SG value of each shot provides an average number of strokes you hit within a certain category. For example, if you have a +1 SG from putting under 7', and per shot it is +0.1 SG, then you've taken an average of 10 strokes from that distance per round.

This metric provides in-depth insights into your performance and helps identify where your strengths lie and where improvements can be made.

Visibility of Data Behind Percentages

Please note that Circles does not currently display the exact number of putts behind a percentage. However, the SG metrics and average stroke values offer a detailed overview of your performance in various areas of the game.

Our team is constantly working on refining our platform to give you more comprehensive information. Stay tuned for future updates, and feel free to reach out if you have further questions or need assistance.
